This is my second day in Hood River on my current trip. Did some work in the morning and wasn’t really thinking about going out. But Peter texted me and asked me about the 6.0 wing that he had and if I wanted to try it. So of course I couldn’t say no, and at around 5pm I’m heading down to the water! Once I got on the water it felt like the wind just dropped, but iwindsurf says that it didn’t and I thought I could still feel some white caps. The wing felt totally unmanageable, way too big, kept catching the tip in the water and really didn’t like the loops at all. Initially I got up on the foil once maybe twice, but the rest of the time it was just slow going back and forth. I do think that I like the boom better than I do loops. And I think I’ll be looking for wings that are only a year or two old. But still, time on the water and so easy just having it all on the room
