Had another great afternoon just off the Hook. Was on my 4.5 and it was VERY gusty. One run I wouldn’t even get up on the foil. The next run I could barely hang on to the wing! I really do need to get a new leash though. Today was like yesterday, when there’s a gust I can get up and on the foil within seconds (on a port tack). And thanks to the gusts and everything else I was able to make several more runs on a starboard tack. I’m still not feeling totally in control on the starboard tack but it’s getting much, much better. I seriously didn’t want to leave but knew that it was the ‘adult’ thing to do!
