After having a few weeks of not much wind I finally got back on the foil. Went out yesterday but there wasn’t enough wind. Went out today and it was just right, maybe a bit much in the channel. Yesterday was actually really good since it was the first time I launched from waterfront park. So that made today even easier.
The wind was gusting so there were times I was flying along and times where it felt a bit slow. But the most fun was heading out near the center and trying my first few swells. Didn’t manage to really ride any, just a few nice turns. But it also made me feel like I’m ready to try more jibes especially when I’m in the swells
Being out in the channel was a bit much but I couldn’t resist heading back out to the spot where the swells were rolling through. And it was gusting quite a bit as well a few times. Overall a really great session and if it’s my last one for the year I’ll be ok with that!
